layout for a one time charge of $240, from one key up to 180 keys with
lifetime warrentee! And also with laser
input.
Custom keyboard offer customers the option of customizing keys with
colors, key sizes, number of keys, adding logo's, hot keys sending macros,
custom languages, custom keyboard layout, sealed to NEMA 4, rugged, and
custom housings, and programmable to your spec's. Quantity is not an issue,
EKI builds from 1 to 1,000's, only $240 NRE. All come with a lifetime
warrantee. The quantity of keys can be from one position up to 180

Custom keyboard with 90
programmable custom keys in a custom keyboard layout, that are
programmed through a computers serial connection using hyper-terminal.
A customer makes a text file then up-loads the custom file. Up to 30 characters
per output key string. Great for software that needs multiple key strokes,
but only one key touch.
EKI custom keyboards detect your finger optically and have zero operating
force, unlike membrane keyboards that have a limited life because they
use contacts with high finger force, can fail, and can cost from $3000
to $8000 to have a custom keyboard made, EKI keyboards are warranted for
life and only cost $240 one time charge to manufacture a custom. No need
for custom color key caps with different text that can wear off EKI puts
a .010 lexan protective sheet over all keys so the text can never wear
off.

| EKI manufactures custom keyboards and keypads with custom
layouts that are optical where the finger is detected by a matrix of infrared
sensors with drift free technology so they can be used outside, desk top
or the factory floor. There are no nooks and crannies around keys so they
can be just washed off if something is spilled on them. As standard they
can be either completely silent or have an audible response. Some of EKI's
custom keyboards detect laser input from
100 feet or more, think of all the possibilities.
Custom keyboard and keypad that are rugged and will not wear out,
rated at 30,000,000 touches per year. Custom keyboard detects your finger
optically so there are no moving parts, and no domes to crack... these
are not membrane or mechanical switch keyboards, you can stick a knife
in the touch surface and not affect the life or operation. Custom keyboard
can have permanent, semi-permanent key text overlays. Custom keyboard and
keypad that can I/O dual ascii (rs-232 or rs-422), USB or PS2 codes and
sequences of codes. They are sealed so they can be easily washed off. Only
a $240 NRE charge for making our custom keyboards and keypads fit your
application.
Custom keyboard layouts are also compact in size so they can be used
on your lap, stand, or desk. Put photo's on each key to direct users to
your options.

We have a custom keyboard that can be mounted to a panel
or machine. They can be fitted with a touch pad to one side, or in the
middle of the keyboard.
Custom keyboard layout that uses PS2, USB or
serial output, there is no other connections required.
And because they're optical we can make them to fit your application.
You can have only the keys you want, your name, your colors, your organization's
name, your department, and text (a function name). And Hot Keys, one key
can input a URL, ctrl-C, etc., so if you're using a program that you press
a sequence of keys on a regular basis, those sequences can be programmed
into one key with the function name put on the key position.
Keyboards with photo's on each key, or company logo's, touch the
logo and send an email, all in the custom macro sent with one touch.
Because there are no moving parts our custom keyboard will never
wear out.

Custom Keyboards up to 35 Position
The 35 position custom keyboard have the same overall size
as the 20 position custom keyboards or keypads, and mount the same way.
The only difference is there are more sensors inside to detect the added
positions, and are slightly higher in cost. The 35 PKB-FM
is $179, the 35 PKB-SM is $194, and the
35 PKB-SA is $194. The key pitch is .5 inches.
